Jail Break

Today was an exciting day - the doctors said that both Mama and Navi had a clean bill of health - which means GO HOME! Not that the hospital was a bad place - nor was it like jail (though I don't have anything to compare it to except what I've seen on TV), but we were definitely anxious to get our tiny family unit back together -- we were missing E and Calley immensely and wanted a chance to hang with the Grandies before they had to hit the road for home!

Navi shed the hospital-wear for 'civilian' clothes - his first real outfit for his homecoming! Mama poses with Navi before placing him in his car seat for the two minute drive home!

Navi's first car ride - Destination:HOME! It's pretty wild to look into our back seat and see two car seats!! It'll be neat for the first family outing - seeing both our boyz in the back together!!

When we pulled into the driveway Big Bro E bolted from the front stoop, let out a really excited squeal (it was super cute!) and shouted 'buba'. Avaya, Appaiah and Calley followed close behind and they all came to greet us. E couldn't get enough of his baby bro!

Here is our furry girl meeting her littlest bro ... We'd sent home one of Navi's hospital receiving blankets as a way of introducing Calley to Navi before we came home - which we had also done when E was born and the technique worked well! Little E watched on from the sidelines.

Then E got into big bro mode and decided to rock and sing to his little bro. The waters got a bit rough when E, not aware of his strength, began to rock the boat a little too fast. But he is working on his 'gentle touches.'
