Navi spent most of the time hanging out with us in the hospital room - taking phone calls, reading text messages and emails from ecstatic family and friends, taste-testing hospital food, watching movies, and a whole lot of cuddle time.
Navi is telling his Dada a really compelling story about monkeys and coconut trees!
Mama skipped the hospital tray for a couple meals and Dada brought her Subway sandwiches - since she hadn't had one in nine months! While this may not be the ultimate gourmet meal, it's something that Mama definitely savors! Thanks Dada - it ROCKED!
Mama's turn to cuddle with Navi.
Dr. Murray stopped by to catch-up with us - she has been Mama's doc for a while now - and delivered Little E. Unfortunately, she was in surgery when Navi came. On the big day, Dr. M had just visited us in Labor & Delivery and Mama was dilated 7 cm. She figured the surgery would be done by the time Navi was ready to come, but Mama's labor progressed REALLY FAST ... and just 45 minutes later Navi arrived - before Dr. M was out of surgery! While we missed her a bunch - one of her amazing colleagues delivered Navi!

Naveen looks so alert with Vik; maybe Eashan has already taught him the ropes that he's skipping the newborn stage! :) Hopefully E taught him how to sleep really well at night. I love reading your posts! I'm thinking about you four often! I hope that home is going great for you all! Love ya!
