Moving Day

Early this morning, the big move began. The Vellis came into town the night before and will be lending their support as we head to The Hamptons today. The four moving dudes from Commonwealth Movers Inc. (we highly recommend) arrived at 8am sharp and began their day of movin, movin, movin. It was a mighty, mighty hot day for moving.

More than half our belongings went into storage (on-site) and we have a feeling we may be having a yard sale before moving to our new place. We learned from staging our home at Colgate for sale that we actually could do with a whole lot less. Now we're going to be in the apartment with even less.

Mama (who tends to save everything in site 'just in case') has declared to Dada that she hopes to become a minimalist like him ... we'll see how that goes ...

E hung out in our front two rooms - it was pretty sad to see them void of furniture!!

Velliamma and Navi hung out where our kitchen table once sat. The Vellis and E went for an outing mid-morning while we supervised the move to the apartment. He was so happy to spend time with them and was on his best behavior! We thank them for all their support and help -- we love you!!
