Visit from the Grandparents

These days, we get a lot more phone calls from my parents than we used to. However, they are not all that interested in us.... it's all about their grandson. Yesterday, they were able to make the trip to Richmond to see Little E... and there was no containing their excitement. Both Velliappa and Velliamma made every attempt to spend every minute they were here staying close to Eashan. In fact, there were many times that they were in competition with each other! Velliamma brought a great home cooked meal which we all enjoyed. Velliappa and I were finally able to share our scotch together that we had been waiting a long time to do.

As soon as they arrived, Velliamma and Velliappa scooped up the little man...

But then, it was time to go. Velliamma and Velliappa headed out on their way to DC for a wedding...

The grand-dog watched as the grandparents pulled away... I gotta feeling they will be back very soon.
