Independence Day

On this holiday weekend as America celebrated its independence, so did our Little E! He moved out of the wee co-sleeper/bassinet that was set up next to Mommy's bedside and spent his very first night in his own room and slept in his crib!!! Mommy had a bit of separation anxiety about this, but is very proud to report that the transition went off without a hitch.

Our weekend was a fun one and included an ice cream run to Baskin Robins late Friday night, Breakfast at Wimbledon complete with french toast (what a match between Nadal and Federer!) and E's first 'walk' - well, 'roll'- in the neighborhood.

Daddy got some 'boy time' with the little man and treated Mommy to a little outing for some retail therapy. It also gave her a chance to wear something other than her yoga pants!! In fact, the dress below belonged to Thaye (Sat's mama)... To this day Thaye is still a stylish fashionista!! This dress is true vintage -- it's older than Sat.
