E Hits the Bottle

Little E has been learning something new each and every day! On the weekend, Mommy and Daddy decided it was time that the little guy learn how to drink from a bottle so that Daddy could take part in the late night feeding experience.

The experts recommend that someone other than a mom should introduce the bottle to baby -- so that means dads or grandparents etc. Additionally, Moms should be out of sight when the event takes place. So on Sunday, Mommy reluctantly went for a drive while Daddy introduced E to the bottle (with nutritious and delicious breast milk in it! pumping is hard work!) ... E is really growing fast and while this is awesome, it's hard for Mommy to see her little one becoming a big boy.

Apparently, E had no problem making friends with the bottle and gulped the 3.5 ounces down in about 8 minutes ...

Daddy made the initial introductions ...
Daddy said: "E, meet the Yummy Bottle"
E replied: "Yummy Bottle, nice to gulp you!"
Father and son will probably be tossing back a few beers together in the years to come.
The result is a very full and satisfied E!
Here's E in his second pair of pants! Since it's been a nice hot summer, we've let the little guy roam around in just diapers or onsies or au natural. Since this was a big day, we felt he should wear big boy pants!
The Sandman comes for a visit and E is on his way to dreamland ...
