Wishing on Stars

Today Eashan received a very special package from Canada, courtesy of his Uncle Sunil (my brother) and Auntie Helenka. They found a very creative way to send their love, thoughts and prayers to their favorite nephew (OK, so he's also the first nephew).

The little sign reads: "A thousand stars. One wish for Eashan." It came atop a shoebox full of tiny blue and brown paper stars. The two of them folded each star and dropped them in the box. We are sure that Eashan will treasure this very special gift! He sends his thanks -- and he can't wait to give you hugs and drooly-kisses in person!! Also, he looks forward to getting a guitar lesson from his multi-talented Uncle!
