Boo Boo Art

This morning Mama was sitting in her office working away when her phone began buzzing, flashing a familiar number. It was Ms. Bridgitte and Ms. Lindsey - E's new teachers from his Toddler class calling. Whenever Mama catches a glimpse of that number, her little heart just sinks, because it usually means that:

A.) A Boo Boo (or Buh-Boo, in E speak) happened on the playground;
B.) There's a school-wide bug going around and your kid just got it, or
C.) A boo boo happened in the classroom ...

Well, today the call was to notify her of A. - and E actually got a big ol' scratch on his face as courtesy of one of his slightly older friends on the playground. The teachers saw the whole thing go down - E and 'his friend' met on a collision course, parted, and 'the friend' introduced him to his rather sharp finger nails ...

In typical E-fashion, not a tear was shed from the incident - in fact, the teachers didn't even know anything had happened until a few minutes later when E came up to them ... (Side Note: now come by our household at the end of the day and you may see some big ol' tears when E ain't gettin' his way) ... Anyway, they treated him with some TLC and cleaned up the wound - and mentioned that I may want to pop in to take a look at it myself.

Since Mama stopped in to take a look at her little wounded soldier. E was carrying on without a worry in the world ... painting with his class. It was the cutest scene! She could've stayed there all day.

She happened to have her camera with her and shot these pics - these were taken on E's non-wounded side! He's quite the little artist. Check out the fun painting smock!

E and his tools ... what technique. LOL
He's a proficient paint-mixer ... we may need to get his help when we get to the new house.
E admiring his hard work!
