Oooodles of Fun

We've really settled into our new temporary summer diggs at The Hamptons - it's almost been a month since we moved in. The 3-bedroom apartment is actually pretty homey and cozy. They boys' sleep schedule is beginning to settle back to what it was before the move. We've been enjoying a lot of time together after school and work.

Here are a few pics of life at The Hamptons:

Dr. E makes an appearance almost nightly around here. It is neat to see Dr. E in this role - and he always manages to snag a new patient. Tonight, it was Lil Bro Navi. Again, Dr. E is good at making house calls!
We eat well here ... Dada and E stop munching, well almost, for a pic.
E seems to like having his toys in his room since we don't have the space for a play room here and the family room area is not exactly a football field! We caught him quietly playing on his own.
Navi is showing-off his head-control during tummy time.
E is frowning here, tho we're not sure why because he actually likes this time with the glider and boppy and 'baby.' We figure he's frowning because we have captured him during a somewhat private, bonding moment with his baby. As we've come to learn rather well, The Toddler likes to imitate the big people around him ... and apparently nursing a stuffed monkey is something we do around here. Well, E has obviously seen how his Baby Bro gets food and wants to be sure to provide the same nutrition to Moe Monkey. We are trying to catch it on video, but E will walk in the room, head for the glider, yank his shirt way, way, way up and 'latch' Moe to the side of his stomach. Very amusing indeed.
The imitation doesn't stop at nursing - he also shaves and visits the potty (without actually going potty - but it's a start) ...
E also has taken notice of how we care for him and Navi - here we caught him putting socks that his Little Bro had kicked off his feet. Apparently he wants to keep his Bro's toes nice and toasty warm.
E was watching us devour sweet corn-on-the-cobb at dinner and obviously wanted part of the action. Hysterical!
Did we mention that Dr. E is a universal healthcare provider - he's a pediatrician, general practitioner AND VET all rolled into one!! Here he gets ready to tend to his fave furry patient!
Next her rabies vaccination!
E comforts her after the pain of the injection - and reassures her that it's for the best.
You can do it all at The Hamptons!
