Super Grandma in the House

This week Dada had to head back to work, but we were fortunate to have Avaya with us. She gave us a tremendous helping hand -- she helped with EVERYTHING from preparing meals, doing most of the household work, to setting up fun at home spa-time for Mama, keeping Mama company during middle of the night feeds and diaper changes, and getting E ready for school!! There's so much more that I am forgetting to say here (she also planted flowers in the garden!!)

It's true, nobody does it like your Mama!! Most of all, Mama enjoyed some bonding time with her Mama:)

As things tend to go with a toddler in the house - E was sent home mid-week with a GI Bug. Ewwwwww. Mama definitely couldn't have managed having both her wee boys at home on top of the no sleep time - and Avaya was there to take the pressure off!! Here she cuddles with her older grandson, soothing his aches and belly pains!
Avaya was along for the ride when Mama had to take both her wee men to the pediatrician for Navi's weigh in (he sure is a growing boy!!) ... Avaya mastered picking up the boys and putting them in their car seats since Mama still can't pick up anything more than 10lbs!

This marked the first time BOTH boys were in the car together. E was mesmerized by his 'Buba' ... and happy to have company in the backseat! He kept a watchful eye on Navi for us.
