Big Brother is Watching

It's been a super busy time in our home. Not only is E growing like a weed, but he's been showing us what a big boy he has become and how he's ready to show the world just what a good, smart and responsible boy he is - especially now that somebody else will be looking up to him very soon!

That's right, E is excited to tell you that come the end of April, he's going to be a Big Bro!!

Below is E's fave pic of his new sibling ...

The past few months have been an exciting and interesting time. 'Peashu' as we affectionately call our newest little one in utero, has made 'her' presence very well known. We say 'her' just to say 'her'. We do not yet know that E has a lil' sis on the way, but we don't really like saying 'It' around here.

Mommy has been such a trooper -- she has been hit extra hard this pregnancy with the typical preggo-type things - but TRIPLE time. Plus, as for many mommies, she works full time in and out of the home - so that made for some really heavy exhaustion. For almost 13 weeks, she was very ill morning, noon and night, plus she was hit with the flu a couple weeks ago. Recuperating was extra hard while being preggers, but all the grandparents helped take extra care of her and the rest of the fam with the tender love and care that only your parents can give!! (Daddy and E were also hit around the same time with flu, ear infections and pink eye; while poor Calley Coco had some minor surgery, but had to wear a cone around her head for an entire week!!)

Daddy, E and Calley have really stepped up and taken care of EVERYTHING around the house. Daddy took care of most things, but E and Calley supervised accordingly. Daddy also convinced Mommy (who after YEARS, FINALLY agreed) that a cleaning person would be a great help around here.

With the early preggers symptoms lingering less and less, Mommy is beginning to feel a little more herself again -- and everyone is just excited for next Spring to come around so we can hug and kiss our little Peashu Bean!

E is already watching over Peashu and snuggles up against Mommy's growing belly often, though we don't really think he's fully aware of what's going on. What we do know is that he's gonna make THE best Big Bro around. We're already so proud of the lil man.

Now, we'll have to break it to him that his spotlight on 'Elephant Shoes,' which is our way of saying 'I love you' (go mouth it into the mirror), is going to have to be shared. But we think he'll be excited about the prospect of having someone to share the fun and trouble with ... and having someone else do his chores?

Very exciting news - congrats! I can sympathize with that horrible nauseous feeling as I had the same experience with Kamran. It's wonderful when you finally get your "life back"!

YAY YAY YAY! Congratulations Sat, Vik and Eashan!! Sorry you're feeling lousy Sat, but come April (great birth month, might I say) you'll have your reward. My wish for you is that E enjoys big brotherhood as much as Ben is.

I saw your status on FB about craving breakfast and almost commented on the word "craving," but decided not to! I guess my intuition was right! :)

Congratulations to all of you!! I can sympathize with pregnancy being rough the second time around - and with the rest of the family stepping up to help bring precious Peashu into the world. I can remember the exhaustion of the first trimester that comes with pregnancy, working, and already being a mommy - plus you all were sick! Come April it will all be a distant memory. Wishing you a smooth pregnancy and a beautiful healthy baby! We are so happy for you.
