To continue on with our
STAYcation - our vacation at home - we decided to take in the sights and sounds offered by our local Richmond attractions. Among those, included a day trip to the Metro Richmond Zoo, which in fact, was located far off from the metro area. Perhaps city officials may have overlooked this fact when designating a name.
Anyway, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the zoo. When Mommy was a little girl, E's
grandies would take her and Uncle
Sunil to just about every zoo they passed while they were vacationing - particularly on
road trips. Mommy thought it'd be fun to carry the tradition on with E.
We had the chance to see animal from all over the world, without even leaving the Metro area. Among our favorites was the highly affectionate giraffe family ...
Appaiah walked away with a BIG
OL' SMOOCH from the Mommy giraffe. Somebody had a crush on
Appaiah!
Gearing up with Uncle
Sunil for a wild zoo adventure.

Move over Indiana Jones ... Indiana E is in town.

E and his
Grandies were captivated by the White Tiger ... They were showing off in their little habitat.

Mommy introduces E to Gregor the Giraffe.

Daddy gets up close and personal with Gregor.

Daddy tells some pretty funny jokes, but sometimes, the punch line gets lost. That's when E kindly obliges with his 'throw-back-head laugh.' Here's one such time!
