Meeting Our Little Boy

When it came time for the 'BIG Ultrasound' -- the one where the technician can possibly decipher if you're gonna have a boy or a girl ... We were pretty much split. A lover of surprises ... I wanted to wait until I delivered; however, our analytic, engineer Vik, really could not contain himself!! So after weeks of intense negotiations (LOL), we came up with a lovely compromise: We'd get the technician to fill out a card that we put together ... and have her check the appropriate box and seal the envelope -- then we'd open it somewhere together!!

The big appointment was Jan. 28 ... and we waited until Valentine's Day to open the envelope. We went out for dinner and opened up the sealed envelope that had the appropriately checked box...
